If I were in your shoes I would have dumped the guy too. I can just see being pulled into any trouble this guy might have gotten into w/ the police.

Well, IF I know the law I will argue with the person until they understand or my BP gets too high, whichever comes first. If I DO NOT know if they ae correct but don't believe thier quote I will politely nod and look it up when I gethome.

I was wondering about your example though; if he was correct in his quote did he have permission fromthe trustees of the church, or the pastor? If not his argument was invalid anyway.

I am sure that he had permission from the Pastor to carry as he is on the church security team.

I'd put him in this last category, trouble LOVES company, best not to be near.
If it's a singing pig situation, best bet is to save yourself the frustration, and just let it go.

Well men, in Colorado, on your property, you and your guest can carry anyway you please. I might also mention, in your car you are allowed to carry open or concealed. If you leave your firearm in the car while you are not in it you must conceal it and lock your car. Actually, you are supposed to lock it in your glove box, but they don't have locks anymore.

I am an open carrier in Colorado and belong to Opencarry.org. If you have questions, go there and ask. those fellas are right on top of it and you will find most states represented there.

Given the relevant Colorado statute that says you can't has already been posted, if you'd care to cite this I'd certainly be interested to see it.

I have pretty much cut ties with the guy since I found out that he took it upon himself to inform the entire church security team (and a few other of his close personal friends) that I carry.
