why wait they'll fit in the casing right now
at least you can shoot them, we in new york cant, tho if i see a pig in the woods it's diner. they just had some sika deer escape one county up, would love to see that out hunting.I have a number of members that never see a hog. I would rather they were harvested when they are a bit larger.
nope they made it illegal, i'm guessing because ny own the animals, but they wont pay for the damage there animals do,You can't shoot feral hogs in NY? There are no regs here, but if I ever run across one of those invasive buggers in the woods here I will kill it with a rock if that is all I have on hand.

yup we need to push the city out to sea and end it all. in less then 50 years we went from the sportsman state to what we have now.Well, that goes hand in hand with the rest of the thought process there. I am not referring to you, by any means. Mostly the people that live in that concrete jungle up there, and voted that moron girl, into office.

Translation the chosen hog-hunters there are getting paid good bucks for erradication, which of course translates into redirecting some of that money, tax money paid to the hog-hunters, into donations to politicians and/or cash to officials in an "unrecorded and unseen manner".....their cadre of hog professionals will surely prevail and rid the state of the dreaded menace
They should humanely trap them and place them in a habitat where they won't get bothered. I'm thinking central park, the 9.9 acres where the governor's mansion is located (after proper fencing is installed) and any private land owned by bloomberg.nope they made it illegal, i'm guessing because ny own the animals, but they wont pay for the damage there animals do,

I disagree with state law on wild boars. The state wants to trap them instead because shooting them is allegedly going to create more, smaller populations that scatter. So the state thinks that they can trap the entire population at once. Don't think that works out well. If the pigs can learn from being shot at what makes them think that they won't learn how to avoid traps.

"It is borderline criminal for them to turn a blind eye to pig population dynamics and what that can mean for the ecosystem of the state."
From what a Missouri resident tells me, it's illegal to hunt hogs there too. He said the game dept. didn't want to educate the hogs by having 'amateurs' botching the job. Instead, their cadre of hog professionals will surely prevail and rid the state of the dreaded menace .. or words to that effect.
Since when did a bureaucracy do anything right?
