Weatherby,Howa recall/safety issue?

One of the guys at work today was saying something about there being a saftey issue or perhaps recall on Howa rifle bolts. Actually I think it was the Weatherby Vanguard, but isnt that and the Howa 1500 the same thing?

yes there is a recall and its listed on weatherby's site

Not a dumb question at all, and I suppose I do tend to use the forum as a "crutch" so to speak from time to time.

Its a safety upgrade that affect rifles that were manufactured before 1994.
