Rahr.. Awesome stuff! I read the ENTIRE story in 2 (nights) bed late late.. Well worth the lack of sleep!! Major thumbs up to you guys. I must say though, where's the compiled version that I read about earlier to download? I think that one is outdated? KEEP IT UP! I'll be waiting for the next installment.

Well, somehow I stumbled onto this post and I haven't been able to check anything else out until I read it all.

Although it's been said many times, many ways....Great story you two. NC, I can't wait for the updated/cleaned-up version.

I do have a question....

I didn't understand Melissa's comment about Corwin (or was it you) being gay. Which one was it? Who had the crush on whom?

Do not know how I missed this thread until yesterday but once I found it I read it all in two sittings great story cant wait for Monster Hunters to come out
 
Thanks. When the book is released, I will go back through this thread and send a PM to every person who expressed interest. Oleg is still finalizing the cover art, and then we're off to the printers.

NC, I'm willing to bet that this thread will keep popping back to the top, about once every couple of weeks until it hits 100,000 views. :p We truely created a monster.
 
dont remember if i previously expressed an interest, but im definatly interested in knowing when the book comes out.


not only has the work done here drawn thousands of reads, and hundreds of replies but also a slew of other stories from other aspiring authors. well done guys, youve further enhanced the gun related literary arts.:D

So according to what Correia* has just said, I am making my desire public about wanting copies of Monster Hunter from Correia and NC's Trilogy.

This accomplishes two things. (1) It makes sure I am in the queue for those fine pieces of literature, and (2) it bumps this thread...again. :D

*Correia, you promised to autograph my copy of your work. I plan to hold your feet to the fire. Might even find a way to extract an autograph out of NC too.
 
It IS taking longer than I'd hoped. I'm slowly working my way through writing the original full length prequel to the Welcome Back story, and haven't started on the rewrite of the WB story yet. I will, I promise.

Your patience will be worth it, folks! If I can get it all worked out, there will be some awesome bonus features included in the story .pdf that you'll just love.

Like another poster stated (several postings ago) I read a LOT, and y'all put out good work. Here I thought I was getting burned-out on reading and I find this thread...........awesome!!

Complete, insanity.

For the past couple of days I've been here, at work on the computer steadily sucking in the entire story, from beginning to the end.

It's crazy, I usually love my work, what with being in this little armory packed to the brim with beautiful fully automatic weapons, whats not to love. I'm supposed to be cleaning and performing function tests on them. Rather than that, in between issueing the MGs out, I've been here on the computer, the entire time.

Kudos to the authors.

Now, I really should be getting back to work, what a shame...:)
