After reading the OP's first page, I suspected that he was working overseas for a US "agency" until discovering that it is fiction.

Met a guy in DTW Airport about three years ago who was ex special forces, working for 'Homeland Security' (he told me) in Africa.

Not fast enough! I've read all my Correia books, now I'm going to re-read Dead Six. One of my real literary regrets is not jumping on MHI when Larry self published it here.
