Sadly, it will never pass in Minnesota, the land of Gus Hall. Especially with a High School teacher who thinks he "knows whats best for the kids" as Governor.

They can't afford to build all of the safe places where other students and teacher don't have to hear and endure the sound of gunfire.:fire:

Threaded barrels and cans will protect those "safe spaces" so they won't have to endure hearing gunfire.

Interestingly, college near my sister/BIL offers gunsmithing program - https://www.lassencollege.edu/academics/programs/gunsmithing/Pages/default.aspx

They offer Associate in Science Degrees in Firearms Repair and General Gunsmithing, as well as Certificates of Completion for Pistolsmith, Riflesmith, Long Guns, and Gunsmith Machinist and Metal Finishing.

I am interested in checking into the program for some of their classes for retirement.

Yes, there is a college in MN that offers gunsmithing, too. Pine Tech, in Pine City, MN. I know several graduates. I learned the hard way, self-taught, and Armorer in the Army.

-A community college that I was somewhat involved in starting created a comprehensive gunsmithing program, built the facilities, hired the staff, then found that their charter banned firearms from the campus... .

Never underestimate the power of human stupidity - especially when politicians and educators are involved.

Apparently, they have been doing this for a long time.

"Established in 1945, Lassen Community College Gunsmithing is the oldest gunsmithing school in the United States"
