Somebody had mentioned these the other day in Wilderness and Survival forum over at BF. I found one, for $4.95 and decided to buy it. I currently own a Victorinox Swiss Card, which I paid a comperable price for. I like the knife on the Wenger more. I also like the multi-tool which combines a screw driver, nail file, and cap lifter. There is tweezers that are always nice to have, and the proverbial little toothpick. One area that Vic gets it better is the Scissors- those Vic Swiss Card scissors are awsome, but the cap is crap. Overall, I'm impressed.

This picture shows my Wenger Card (red), Vic Swiss Card (Green), and my makeshift leather sheath. The sheath was handmade by a New York City leathermaker, who makes them as credit card wallets from "scrap" leather from his primary jobs, which involves making handmade purses.

There is inch and metric rulers on the card body.

Thank you for sharing, and especially with pictures.

I have not seen the Wenger card and the knife itself really really gets my attention!!

Note to self: See if one can buy replacements knife(s)...

Tool Logic had these out before the SAK Cards came out. I had one of the early models and it was kinda handy.

Over on BF, FelineVet (A very knowledgeable dealer of VIC and Wenger SAK's) let me know that these cards were made by someone else and purchased in quantity by Wenger to use as gifts and they were subsequently sold off on the cheap.

Still, pretty good quality.

I've been interested in that tye of ''kit'', but given there' fixxed blades, here in texas there illegal because they would be ''concealed''. I bet there awfully usefull, even seen one with a stapler if you can believe that.

There is nothing in Texas law that says fixed blades are illegal to carry any way you want.
