Had to use it or lose it so I took a vacation day and made a road trip to a new range.. Centerfire. Its just West of Joplin and basically sits on the state line just Northeast of Galena KS. Its only been open for about three months but its pretty nice. They charge $17 (non member) for a all day range pass. They have a Action Target system which can run drills... I found that with my G2C I was pretty accurate out to 10 yards (12 rounds in a 6 inch circle) but this is with a static target. When I ran a charge drill (the target went out to 40 ft then rapidly came towards me I tended to shoot high. Its a pretty impressive system and lets the shooter change lighting effects as well. As you can see I shoot alot of .22LR. You can bring all your own equipment/ammo/gear/targets and they don't nickle and dime you like another range I visited in Northeast Oklahoma. They even asked me if I wanted to keep my brass and when I said I didnt they swept my lane for me... most other places I've been require you to clean up after yourself.
