Went to see my brother the otherday and he pulled out an old memory I had practically forgotten about. I bought him a hi point for his bday when we were in high school about six year ago just to shoot. well turns out he still packs it with him. He is an avid kayaker hiker hunter etc. and when he pulled out the gun it looked as if it had been tied to a truck bumper and dragged every day since I bought it (used i might ad). He said he takes it everywhere when he goes outdooring and anywhere else. It was beat to pieces never been cleaned scratched indentions from being dropped thrown submerged in the water, had mad in the indentions where it has been beat up. You name it the gun has been through it. I was impressed needless to say... I love guns for durability and this gun might be one out of a million but it is tuff. I see posts starting with "My high point broke" alot less than any other posts about every other handgun failing maybe its because less people own them but for the money it seems hard to beat...
