Very cool man. I like the angle on this one better and it will still mostly keep your knuckles up and out of the way.
 
Thanks 460Shooter ! It feels good in the hand and I think its gonna cut ! I cant wait for my Nitro-V to arrive so I can start to make some of these ! My grinder is all tuned up and ready to go !
 
No, rust collector, not my first ! My dad helped me make my first knife when I was about nine. Ive been making knives for about 12 years. Ever so often I get the idea that I should take it more seriously.

Hi Jim,

‘Nice grinding technique on your knife. I like 15n20, it is very tough steel with good edge retention easy to heat treat and makes for great kitchen knives. I usually quench a 15n20 blade at least two times in 130 deg. canola oil and temper it at 375-400 degrees.
