I thought this might be intresting do to lack of and price of bullets.

What type of bullets are you using?
Where do you order from for bullets and supplies? Thanks Jeff

Jeff - I think you mean .40 inch bullets, right? 40 mm is a bit large for the average reloader.

Most of mine are either lead or plated. I get them from Oregon Trails, Rainier (plated), or a local (at one time, but about 2700 miles away now) dealer in Fremont, CA called "Bullets, Bullets, Bullets". BBB made them in their own shop and were excellent quality.

Yes I ment 40 cal, i just finished sorting a 5 gal bucket of 9mm with my boys, I still had the mm i my mind.:eek::eek:.
Is BBB still in business??? I work out of Redding but go to Hayward every month. Jeff

I am pretty certain that BBB closed a couple years ago. Maybe someone else could chime in and verify since I have not been by that area in some time.

The last time I was in there Ike (the owner) was saying he was pretty burned out working a regular job and keeping BBB going. Then I seem to remember getting a "going out of business" flier in the mail. This had to be at least 2 years ago. Sorry to see him give up since he had a big selection of bullets.

I shoot a 10mm, and for the most part have been using up a bulk supply of Winchester 180gr JHP's. I also shoot the Gold Dots, Remington 180's and am just working on doing some loads up with Rainer 200grs for practice.

I should clarify, I use Berry's plated for practice, Hornady TAP and Speer Gold Dot for defense. Didn't want anyone thinking I load Berry's for defense, lol.

Zero brand from roze distributing or powder valley has them. I believe roze is cheaper as their prices have free shipping. These aren't plated, the real deal. Last time I ordered I think they were $122 a thou shipped.

M203 Grenade Launcher

The special casing design for 40mm grenade launcher makes it nearly impossible to reaload. This was a consideration that evolved from our coming in as second place winner in Vietnam:eek: where virtually anything left behind by GIs would wind up working against us. As a result, the rounds have, from the very beginning, been designed to make the spent casings to be of value to nobody.:neener:

No kidding.:p
