Actually... just try finding cheap spam cans of surplus 7.62x25 right now. "Sold Out" is most of what you'll find.

Shotshells, .17 HMR, .22 Short, and .22 Magnum were perpetually in stock during the ammo frenzy.

There was never a shortga eon 12ga or 20ga & .40 S&W wasn't too hard to find.

Not much around where I am. 9mm was always around, maybe not in every store but always easy enough to find. .45 acp was sporadic but Dick's always had some. .380 .38 and .357 seem to be the only one's hard to find. I had trouble finding cheap .357 range ammo until I found a local that had cases of Blazer .357.
