Nah, Gunny is no Chuck Norris, he's more like Sylvester Stallone. He deserves more Accolades, but all I could find were Tic-Tacs.

Matt decided to finish the Carcano stock repair at home. Just had to give him a few tips. He should send pics when it's finished.

To me, most repairs are very simple. I break them down into steps. I also do my best to hide the repairs by doing them from inside the stock. I was lucky to have spent some time with some old Gunsmiths.
I will have to dig up some of my old stock repair post and post them in the gun repair section. I lost a bunch of pics a few years ago when I had a PC crash.

Friends do for one and other without expecting something in return, but it comes back in return.
Matt also comes with work so that he can learn.
For me stock work is relaxing, it’s something I enjoy doing.

I love to hear somebody that feels that way. That's the way my father was and he must have passed it along to me. I love to help out my friends and I agree it does come back in return. I bet my father gave away a small fortune in labor for his friends and I try to do the same. It used to drive my ex wife crazy if someone came to our house and I helped them fix something.
