What are you favorite concealable full tang daggers?

When those Goober mini daggers came out,the boot knife and loveless Bannockburn posted, I was all hot for them...except in those days a double edged dagger was a Felony in the Pre shall issue CWL Florida…. and believe it or not a handgun was a misdemeanor and by statute could be open carried in some conditions (though in built up areas they would arrest you for disturbing the peace or reckless display).

No body going to mention one of the shorter Randell #2s?

I carried a F-S knife on patrols and played with some way to carry concealed when in the rear but never did find a comfortable and accessible way to do so. I blunted the last inch of the blade on both sides just ahead of the cross guard incase I needed to go finger over. Sort of like the 1st SSF knife. As it was never used as a tool, never even cut twine or opened an envelope, I kept it stupid sharp. Some how over three years I managed to not cut the sheath which I think the weak link in that system (though sewing it to the seam of our OG over trousers was sort of neat... but then you had to cut it off to send to the laundry so that did not happen much) It was stolen at Ft, Sill, well at my apartment in Lawton, and the one good thing was that who ever stole it cut off the belt hanger portion off the sheath, likely to stick it in a boot top and it was laying in the parking lot next to my car, along with enough blood splatter that the Deputy that also had his car broken into dashed to the hospital to see if anyone showed up with a slashed palm or forearm. No Joy.

I mistakenly tried to replace it with an Indian knock off...

Mine is a Blackhawk XFS Micro neck knife. Not a work of art, but it has a blade in AUS-8 with a " Besh wedge" grind it is extremely strong. It hangs from Paracord around my neck whenever I bike or hike, and I never notice it.

Those your patches?

I was a medic on a LRRP team for 8 mission in 68-69 with 3/187 .Carried a Randal or a Edge 5 inch
Blade

Welcome home bro.

Those are my VN patches , I went 68 thru 70 in two tours with a three month break between them . The last tour was mostly in aircraft, I have Fixed and rotary air medals and CIB (from first tour) and other unit citations too. I went into reserves in 1971 and during the training for that managed to make it to Florida again (went there in 1966 after Benning Jump school to pick up my Randall #1-8 which did serve me first tour, Bo made it in less than a week while I played around) ., The Ek knife was a status symbol a lot lighter than the Randall to carry when I had to report to "field" exercises as the 351L WO 1 :) at Hunter Liggett 72-84 in reserves.
I currently carry a made in Oregon Gerber vintage "rivermaster" in my motorcycle cut, very light and nasty sharp and secure !

I have one of those vintage Gerber Rivermaster knives too! Use to carry it in my book bag when I was going to college. And you're right: even after all these years it's still nasty sharp!

Well there you go for a fixed blade full Tang concealable knife that won't break the bank. Like I say I carry it on my MC vest, very useful, inspires confidence, and not a huge hit if it goes bye bye, unlike say a Polkowski full Tang or even greater value knives of the kind.

I don't own any daggers, but I keep all of my knives sharp enough to poke holes in anything that needs holes poked in them. A person would not be any more dead with a MkII poked in them than my Kabar hunting knife.
