$15 per hour at the local indoor range. Free if I drive the hour to the outdoor Hunter Association range. The real test is finding it.
Member of two clubs here in the UK.
One costs £70 per year, plus £1.50 green fees per shoot (no time restrictions). I like to use this club on some weeknights after work. 25m indoor range with 10m air pistol range. Can use all types of pistol calibres.
Another club is £140 per year with no green fees per shoot. This is only open on Wednesday and Saturdays, so I use this on the weekend as I work Monday - Friday. 100m range where all calibres (except high muzzle energy) are permitted.
Pardon my ignorance please, but I thought handgun ownership in UK isn't allowed, and shotguns are allowed, but high power rifles are tightly controlled and use required special permit.
I read before that an olympic shooter had to take her firearm across channel to practice.
I know your laws are more restrictive than ours here in the US, but I really have no idea. Van you take the time for a high level summary of what can and cannot be owned / possessed at home?
Dunno.... Lemme see.For those that frequent shooting ranges that charge a fee, what does it cost to go to a range in your neck of the woods?
Here (Central Coast of California) it's $20.00/day (08:00-4:00 PM) or $10.00/day for club members ($70.00/year.) That includes paper targets, along with steel targets.
