I like bigger, heavy all steel guns the best. SS, blued, nickeled, it's all good. I only have six revolvers, but I have a lot of semiautos, most of them all steel with a few alum framed ones in the safe, with even a couple of cheap polymer guns. IMHO, pretty much all polymer guns should be cheap. Strangely, the cheapest of those polymer guns, Taurus PT111 Gs's, SAR CM9 G2(The best of all the polymer guns I've ever owned), Sar K2P, and Taurus 809 have been the best of all the plastic fantastics. Toys to me, I don't care if they get banged up, and if one was to break, oh well. My metal guns are another story. I don't mind honest wear, but nicking them up kind of upsets me.
Right now, I'm fighting the urge to jump on an unfired Sig 226 SSE, it hits all my buttons, solid stainless, wood grips, a Sig 226, night sites, etc, and it's at a good price. I already bought myself the parts to build a monster PC as my Christmas present to myself and my birthday present a few months ago was a new car, but I have the cash to buy it and it's one of "one of these days" guns. I actually had one that I sold as soon as I bought it for a nice profit years ago, and wished I had kept. but a $250 instant profit was hard to resist. I'm weakening as I type this..
