Here's the scenario I am now considering: assume I can purchase a couple handguns now, but may never be able to purchase any more. What should I get?
Right now, I have a Taurus 24/7 9mm, 1911, HK45, and Kahr PM9.
My wife has a Ruger 22/45 and a Colt govt. .380 (though she has no trouble handling .45 ACP. )
I have medium to small size hands, and prefer single action (though I like the flexibility of the HK). Assume an absolute maximum budget of $1500 (my actual budget is TBD, and may be less). What would you add?
I'm thinking a "beater" 1911 (RIA?), maybe another 9mm, and a PA-63 or two for a cheap gun to stash around the house. But I'm interested in hearing other people's suggestions.
