What If HOAs Prohibit Gun Ownership?

What law or court ruling prohibits HOAs from banning firearms?

A pretty old one:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed

Along with the Heller ruling, it's pretty darned explicit here in 2010.

It also takes a contract, in which one party waives their rights.

That is key. If a homeowner signs an HOA contract that prohibits firearms or allows the HOA to impliment and enforce such prohibitions at any time, shame on one for signing.

Personally, I think anyone who signs any contract in which the terms and conditions can be changed by one party arbitrarily and at any time is an absolute fool.
