What is Essential for a Bug out Bag for 2

I am trying to build a bug out bag for my wife and I. Is it better to have 1 large BOB or 2 medium BOB? What types of things do i need? I have an idea but im not confident that i am gathering the right stuff and not sure if it is not enough or too much junk.
here is a list so far (not all items have been purchased yet)

steel can tine and metal cup
waterproof matches 50
fire starter striker
deet bug repellent
fishing line 10lb and 10 hooks
duct tape 1 roll
military poncho
battle riffle strapped to side
pistol inside (no idea how much ammo for each)
military grade ontario knife machete
sog hatchet
fake grub worms
2 underware/socks
thermal underware
small tarp sealed not sure size needed
extra prescriptions 2-3 weeks worth
multi tool
signal mirror
boonie hat/mosquito head net
psgat helmet strapped to side (1990's style)
sewing kit (cheap)
small emergency water filter
dehydrated food or mre (not sure yet or how many)
sling shot (dont know why but sounds like a good idea)
thermal blanket
face paint ?
flairs (amount? )
cammo clothing and blaze orange vest
non lubricated condoms for water (my old sv2 in navy had them)
life savers

lol that's funny as hell. sorry about that. im new here and didn't realize it was one of those type of questions. i was just thinking about how bad it was when shtf when i was stationed in new orleans 2005 NAS bellechasse...it sucked
