What is the last gun that you bought?

H&R .22 7-shot revolver, break-open, blue, 1.5" barrel, mnf. over 100 years ago. Bought it here; it is still in transit. Have one with a 5" barrel, the 1.5 incher is rather scarce. Called them 'bicycle revolvers' back in the day.

At the moment a old Bushnell i mounted on it but i do own a old zeiss 8x56 that i would love on it. However, for that i would need new scope mounts and i have a lot of gun realated projects anyway..

Did anyone ask how much i payed? Less then $80 incl the scope..

I didn’t post this in this thread, but these are last two guns I have bought:

I picked up a Ruger Wrangler around Thanksgiving. I added the Altamont grips for 20 bucks at their Black Friday sale.

Last week I brought home a 6” S&W Model 48-4 .22 Mag. This is one of my “gotta get one” firearms.

I have no idea what may be next on the list...

Stay safe.

For me? the latest is, of all things, an Auto Ordnance model 1927A1 'Chicago Typewriter".
The classic gun that made the 20's roar. Always wanted one and found a semi auto
with three 30 round stick mags, a 50 round drum and the 'Thompson' soft case.
Just could not resist this baby. Man these suckers are heavy. I weighed it with the
drum loaded and it tips the scale at over 14 lbs. Fun gun to shoot.

You can say THAT again!!!!!! ;) I just bought the M1A version Thompson 9 days ago!!!!! :D

I love the M1A Thompson’s... they would go well with my Garand and M1 carbine .

If I was ever able to buy one that’s the model I’d get, but here in Ca they’re no bueno anymore :(.

You guys post some pictures and show us how they run for you .

Stay safe.

Another LCP (original/2nd gen, not the II).

Thinking about another SKS too, although that one is a little harder to justify...

Duplicate topic, somewhat.
Ruger Mark IV Standard .22 LR (handgun). This replaced an identical Ruger.

* Surprise: 100 rds.( total used) of perfect Golden Bullet and 220 rds. (total used) of perfect Fed. Automatch easily surpassed the 2 stovepipe jams in 100 rds. of New, retail CCI Minimag ammo. Strange.

Picked up the Thompson Center T/CR22 today and did some initial 25 yard testing with 14 different ammo - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...50-yard-22lr-ammo-comparison-break-in.864241/

T/CR22 is Ruger 10/22 "compatible" 17" firearm that can accept 10/22 parts such as magazine, etc. and was designed and built with greater accuracy in mind, starting with integral picatinny rail for mounting optics, fiber optic front and ghost ring rear sights, last round bolt hold open magazine, etc. - https://www.tcarms.com/firearms/semi-automatic/t-cr22

I got the OD green MagPul stock model that is similar to MagPul Hunter X-22 stock for 10/22.

I also ordered Monstrum cantilever quick release scope mount to replace Mizugiwa cantilever quick release scope mount that is showing wear after several years of heavy use for my various AR/PCC/AR-CMMG 22LR/10-22 Take Down and 10-22 Collector #3 testing (BTW, really like the QR lever mechanism on Monstrum scope mount way better than Mizugiwa scope mount and Torx head bolts were used instead of Allen head bolts).

T/CR22 with Monstrum scope mount and Bushnell Dusk & Dawn AO 6-18x50mm

Quick release levers are beefy and easy to operate

Yep, these babies are a hoot to shoot. They are surprisingly accurate too. Certainly not sub MOA, but still
plenty accurate out to 100 yards. Mine has the Cutts compensator so the gun does not climb if you want to
do fast follow up shots. Also with it's steel frame it weighs around 14 lbs loaded with a 30 round stick
mag. I have the drum, but it is a pain to load and more bother then it is worth.
I remember watching Combat and old Vic Morrow, who played Sgt. Saunders carried a M1A Tommy gun.
I loved that thing when I was a kid. That and the German MP40's and 38's. They make a repro
of the MP40, but every where I read about it the gun gets bad reviews with respect to jamming and
other issues. Plus due to it's length, they do not build it with the folding stock since it
is considered a pistol and with a folding stock it is something they call a
'short barreled rifle..

Remington 870 - 20 ga. Getting a head start for the grandkids due this summer. :)
I have a 1971 vintage 870 in 12ga. I use it for everything from shooting crows to shooting clays.
It also doubles as a home defense gun. Mine is the Wingmaster and is still in mint condition.
This one is so old it has the chrome shell door where you load it and the barrel has no
rib. Just the BB front sight. She has taken crows with #4 buck at 60 yards.
The barrel is the original and has a M choke... It is fixed with no removable choke.
People constantly want to buy the thing off of me. There is absolutely no way I will sell this
50 year old girl.
