What is the magazine?

I came across this really strange magazine and I'm trying to figure out what it goes to. It fits into a P38 but very loosely, it's not as wide (front to back) as a standard P38 mag and doesn't lock back the slide. The only marking on it says "Japan" any ideas?

Looks like a very low quality aftermarket mag for a P38.

I think it's an old Replica Arms Corp magazine for the Man from U.N.C.L.E. pistol replica they used to sell.

If anything, the pics of those make them look better made than this thing!
BTW, when I googled that, I exclaimed "Its Megatron!"
