What is the worst revolver you have ever owned?

S&W 29-3. It just won't group even reasonably well. Shoots better (but not good) with maximum charged handloads, but then the screws loosen up every 20 rounds or so. It's still in the safe, awaiting trade up.

A long, long, time ago, I bought a Charter Arms snubby 38. At the 1st firing, all of the rounds went
due left of the target, and stung my thumb with each shot. Upon closer inspection, found that the
cylinder timing was off, and did not align to the barrel at lock up. The reputable gun store did take
it back. Since then, I've been using a bore light prior to purchasing any gun.

Pleased to say that I have not had a bad revolver. Years back I used to be very aggressive doing the buy, sell, trade thing and had owned some real nice revolvers I foolishly let go that I now regret. Live and learn as they say.

I've owned/own nothing but Smiths and a Ruger Single Six. All have worked flawlessly. So my "worst revolver" had to be the 19-5 snub that had surface rust and bluing loss. I foolishly sold it only because i have a 66-2 snub.

I hate to say it, but it was a Colt Anaconda 44 Magnum. Four inch, stainless.

Timing was all screwed up and it would bind up. Then the cylinder release latch was a super sloppy fit.

It was a real let down.
