I got this in a used package buy. It doesn't seem to fit the P250 it came with. It locks, but loosely. Doesn't feed as the bullet sits too low and it doesn't lock back. Is this possibly for another SIG pistol? Any ideas?

Don't the P250 and P320 use the same magazines and grip modules? I thought only the slide assembly was different. I am not sure.

Yes they use the same grip module and mags, the P320 is basically a striker P250. Maybe from a P290?

I suspect it belongs to one of the previous plastic frame SIGs, like SP2009. Not the SP2022 per se, that one never had side extensions like P250, but something in that category. The early metal SIGs like 229 didn't have counter-indented baseplates.

P.S. P290 is a single stack, so not that.

Sig did not use this logo when the SP2009 was in production and the SP2009s are the same as the SP2022.

It is a 12 round P320/P250 subcompact mag with the extension base plate.https://www.topgunsupply.com/sig-sauer-p250-p320-sub-compact-9mm-12rd-magazine-finger-extension.html

WVSig, I think you may be right. I have the compact grip on and thought that was the smallest. I now see there is a "Carry" module which I assume is smaller. The side tabs on the baseplate go into the grip frame, but must not allow the mag to seat completely or something. I don't think 'i have a carry module, although
I ended up with multiple compact. May try trimming those tabs

I think they have different bottom plastic to make the same body fit the different grip modules. That's how the p365 and p365xl versions do it, anyway. You can buy just the mag floor, I think, although the P365 mags come with both bottoms.
