What to carry during recall?

My xds 45 is going off to Springfield for the recall repairs. What are all you xds owners going to replace it with. I'm carrying either a s&w model 37 or a beretta 84bb. My only other 45acp is a full size 1911. Love it but too heavy for me in the summer. Thinking of buying a second xds out of the recall range. What are your plans?

I would probably go with the smaller and lighter S&W Model 37 over the Beretta Model 84BB. I have a Model 638 and it's perfect for warm weather carry. My Beretta Model 84 just seemed too big for me for CCW so I pretty much relegated it for HD work.
 
Since I carry a J frame daily I see nothing wrong with the M37 for the short time your pistol will be at the factory. There is no way I would buy a second pistol just for the recall. Of course if you want a second XD and need an excuse to buy one, have at it! LOL

Shipped mine off on the 29th, so it seemed to be the perfect opportunity to carry the 642 again as it's been quite a bit of time since I last carried it. Stuffed it into a Mika pocket holster and went out for a day trip on Saturday to the coast and never noticed it. I forgot what a pure joy that revolver is to carry. I also put two speed strips in a phone case on my belt, and I feel more than adequately armed for the day.

Either my Kimber or my Colt Lightweight Officers. Not sure what needs to be done to these XDs's. Will be curious to see how long the "fix" takes.

Mine has to go back, so I carried my G20SF this weekend.

Today I'm carrying my RIA 1911. What's the problem now?

Ruger KLCR .... but I was carrying it before I sent my XD-S in for whatever it's going in for. The XD-S was on the chopping block before this fiasco.

September is often the hottest month of the year in Georgia. Especially this year, we had the coolest June, July, and August I can remember, but temps are back to normal the last week or so.
 
Carry the 1911 if it works when you have the clothing to cover it. Other than that, use the other two together or as a BUG to the 1911.
