A few notes from my experience with 380 reloading it for my wife's Sig 238.

Berry's plated 100 grain work really good. Just about the ideal bullet.
As mentioned, you will crush a few cases in the resizing die. I use Hornady dies.
HP-38 is a great powder
The RCBS lockout die isn't advertised to work with 380, but it does work just fine. Probably pretty important since the range of powder in 380 is pretty narrow.

As mentioned, you will crush a few cases in the resizing die.
I've loaded 1000's of .380ACP using mostly range pick-up brass and Lee dies ( with "factory crimp" die) on a Lee Classic Turret press and have never crushed a case. I don't understand the issue.

My .380 range brass seems to vary quite a bit in thickness.
So far I am using the standard Lee .380 dies with no problems.
Yes .380 is much easier to crunch than 9mm......opppsssss
