What's going on with the Sandy Hook and Remington issue?

$73M against Remington is about all I know. The repercussions must be enormous? Any readings, postings to be aware of? I really didn't think they had a win. It's just that knives kill more than any gun. Different religions kill more than guns. Odd times we're in.
