What's in your murse (or on your person?) I ask this for two reasons. First, I'm wondering if I'm missing anything? Second, I'm wondering if I should delete anything as my murse has gotten heavier and bigger over the years:

* Keys
* Wallet
* iPhone
* Ear pods
* Glock 20sf (loaded with 10 rounds)
* Spare Glock magazine (10 rounds)
* Fox Labs 3 ounce stream pepper spray
* Pen & Pencil
* Change purse
* Rosary
* RSVCE pocket sized New Testament
* Victorinox SwissTool
* Cold Steel Voyager folding knife
* Streamlight ProTac 2L Flashlight
* Mechanix gloves
* Handkerchief
* Reusable earplugs
* Comb
* Gum
* Sunglasses case
* Tiny first aid kit in Altoids tin

Except for the handgun, earplugs and first aid kit, there is nothing that I don't use at least weekly -- usually every day so I am reticent to remove anything but I would like to find what others carry? Thanks.

But I have no idea what that means??
I might have one, and not even know the correct medical name for it??? :confused:

Random things in my man-purse aka 5.11 PuSH....

I have a black 5.11 Tactical murse. ;)
I call it a PUSH bag.
Random items include:
Mark III size Fox Labs Mean Green OC spray(cone style)
cigar cutter
01 pack or strip of Eclipse chewing gum
wooden kitchen matches, 01/02 boxes
01/02 cigars(Onyx Reserve Maduro when available)
white-light in a black nylon case
01 car charger with cable
01/02 black ink pens: RT Jetstream
01 set handcuffs w/case(if on duty)
01 Ipad 2
01 spare cell phone(back up/pay as you go)
Sometimes I add a extra 13rd Glock .45acp magazine when I'm carrying my pistol. I should add my nitrile gloves & a few first aid items. I might buy a small Gerber Tanto blade knife too. I have a cheap tanto blade knife but I rarely carry it. I leave it in my SUV. I normally keep my sidearm & spare mags on my person.
I plan to get a new "no thumb safety" M&P Shield 9x19mm. I might carry it in my PUSH bag in a www.Stickyholsters.com rig. They make magazine holders too. ;)

If it does not fit in my pockets, it stays at home.

I have the flashlight app too. It's pretty cool and I have thought about jettisoning my flashlight, but it's a great deal brighter. Food for thought though.

A PPK is also obviously lighter than a G20, so that's another area worth consideration.

To cut cigars....

I cut my smokes.
I don't like to let the odors or leaves to dry out.
I might get some scissors but I'm not fancy. :)

Two sets of keys.
Badge/ID case (in leiu of wallet)
Cellphone
Knife (S&W folder)
Kel-Tec PF9.
(sometimes) a Kel-Tec P32

My man-bag (a small type acquired in Russia, and very common there and elsewhere in Europe) contains:

Checkbook
Pens
Second cellphone
Spare battery for cellphone (both take the same battery.)
Some anti-allergy medication pills that may be needed
Other miscellaneous cards (insurance, second bank card, etc.)
Note pad
Cigarette lighter (though I don't smoke)
Kel-Tec P32.
Pocket holster for the P32

I don't always bring this bag when I leave the house. When I do, it typically stays in whatever vehicle I'm driving; it doesn't get carried about the way they do in Europe. The P32 and its pocket holster, however, frequently get pulled and dropped in my pocket, bringing me to two guns.

I just carry a wallet. And sometimes a Spec Ops bag for special items.

Mine varies slightly by time of day and event but generally it's:

FNX-45 with 10rd magazine IWB
Galaxy S4
Knife (S&W rescue folder or Victorinox knife)
Flashlight (If I have even the slightest thought I'll be out past dark)
Wallet
Car Keys & House Keys
Lens wipe (If I have my classes on that day)
Pen
Zippo Lighter

Every now and then something gets dropped or added, but, those are the standard 10 I base things around.

In a belly pack (which I never wear, but just use it to carry stuff to and from the car and I leave it in the car.) It's a murse only in those short trips back and forth to the car:

cell phone
checkbook
camera (the cell phone has a camera but I never use it)
small wirebound scratch pad
pen
small magnifying glass
cigarette lighter
small led flashlight
speed loader for j-frame
spare emergency sunglasses
small spritzer of hand sanitizer
discovered 4 loose 9mm cartridges just now, don't know how they got there.

Rest of stuff distributed in pants, vest, or outer coat pockets:

steel toothpick
small folding knife
cigarette lighter
chapstick
loose change
empty .17 HMR case I picked up from somewhere because it was "cute." Keep forgetting to put it with my other empty case collection.
tissues
leather gloves (in outer coat pocket)
spare mag in its own pouch for CW-9 (which is in a belt holster)
J-frame (Carried in either outer coat pocket or pants pocket in summertime. When not in pocket it rides on the passenger seat or the driver's door pocket)
keys on leather belt loop thing
wallet on chain through aforesaid leather belt loop thing
key for J-frame frame safety. :( !

shirt pocket(s):
reading glasses (as opposed to driving glasses)
pack of cigs
pen
shopping list

Daily carry wallet, keys, phone, S&W tactical pen, Victornox mechanic, Kershaw Whirlwind, Streamlight Protac 2L and when I can a gun.
My murse is a Uncle Mike's fanny pack that I use for summer shorts weather it has a LC9 a 5.11 tactical light, and a Victornox Trekker that stay in it and I thro my wallet, keys and phone in when I grab it.

"Murse" (= "man purse") is an apt expression, since it implies the feminization of the male gender. Usually, it's women who are known for carrying all their household clutter with them. Now, we have men weighing themselves down with useless clutter on a daily basis. The test should be not whether something could potentially be useful, but whether it's reasonably certain to be useful. It's liberating to travel as lightly as possible.

(The ancient Greek warriors provide a extreme example of this. They went into battle buck naked, and would don their armor and weapons literally at the last minute. Of course, it helped that they had slaves to carry their gear for them.)

I've learned to carry only the things I'm reasonably certain to use on a given day. That usually means money, an I.D., credit cards, and car keys. Sometimes a cell phone. I don't carry a gun because I won't need it in my current lifestyle. (That could change if I started frequenting areas with high crime rates, but at my age I have no reason to go there. I feel quite secure where I am.)

On my person:

Glock (26 or 19 usually)
Small Sabre Red OC
Spyderco Military
ZebraLight SC62w
Wallet, Cell Phone, Keys (w/Thrunite Ti3)

I may add a contact lens case with solution already in it.

I've learned to carry only the things I'm reasonably certain to use on a given day.

Where did you buy your crystal ball? I want one.
