I have heard mostly bad things abput CIA Builds. Why is there Yugo build OK?
AK sights are good for minute-of-man at 200m (what they were designed for). People complain because they want laser beam accuracy out of them, but the Kalashnikov isn't designed for that . .Click Click Boom said:After reading this thread and similar Yugo underfolder threads I have seen two complaints stand out.
1.AK sights
Underfolding stocks suck, in my most humble opinion. They were technologically available at the time of their design, but you see now what the Russians are using. If you want a folding stock in a Yugo AK, I recommend getting a fixed stock Yugo AK and using a side folding ACE stock on it. If you don't like it, you can always put the original wood back on it.Click Click Boom said:2.The folding stock.
Not sure what you consider "huge", but the standard commie rail mount is quite solid and allows the use of any available commie optic.Click Click Boom said:The stock makes it hard to get a good sight picture. I dont want to put some huge rail on an AK. Ultimak has a top rail that seems good for mounting a small red dot.
I've never seen a complaint about them.Click Click Boom said:What is the general opinion of the Ultimak top rail?
I'd install a commie side rail and use a Kobra.Click Click Boom said:What optic/red dot would you use on the Yougo underfolder?
With enough money, anything is possible.ChCx2744 said:Is there any possible options of getting the barrel lining chromed after purchasing a m70? I know they don't come chrome lined but if it was possible to get it done afterwards, I would like to.
