Oldest gun I have is an old ww2 issued mosin nagant, given to me by a friend who knows how much I love things like that.

I have a Hopkins & Allen SA revolver from the later 1880's, and 'U.S.' DA revolver from the early 1890's.

I forget the exact dates, but they are both so old the ATF doesn't consider them to be firearms.

I have a M1917 P17 Enfield made by Winchester...The barrel has a stamp in it near the front sight post...An Ordnance Bomb over the date which is 8-17...

My grandfather picked it up in Anchorage from a sporting goods store in the 60s. The ears for the rear sight were removed and a Williams Peep site was installed. The gaurds on the front site were removed and a round hood welded over the top...

I picked it up in 1999 after serving my 2nd tour in Germany. He asked me what I wanted when he passed on and I told him it was his '06. I didnt know what it was except that it was Opa's rifle. They lived on the California Coast in between SF and Santa Cruz so it was covered in a surface rust. The stock was cracked too at some point.

I replaced the wood and removed the rust...had it blued...It shoots well enough to push a nerf football down range as far as you can see it...

Thanks for the rifle Opa.

Rebuilt match rifle M1 Garand. It's a mixmaster, but the reciever is 1943. It was rebuilt by a Navy Armorer buddy of mine. I gave him $500 for it and he bought a Ruger Blackhawk.

1893 Nagent, 1894 Krag, 1906 6.5 Carcano, 1909 Savage 1899 in 25-35, 1924 Ithaca Flues 12 gauge. And the most valuable- the unknown year Ithica model 37 my father gave to a 13 year old boy.

I have a early production cz-50 (.32 cal) produced in1950. Made specifically for the Czech police after WWII. I just think its a cool looking weapon. The attached image is not my weapon but its exactly the same.

Double barrel 12ga sxs with Damascus barrels side hammers, bottom break lever that says Geo Fisher on it. Don't know the year, but my grandfather got it used and my father was born in 1895. Pretty old. Weighs 12 pounds.

A 1917 Imperial German Luger P08,9mm.This is a Section 7.3 status pistol, held at Bisley. Not allowed to own it at home,as it uses non-obsolete ammo.
My oldest Section 1 firearm is a Springfield M1903, 30-06,made in 1938.

It's not that old, but the oldest in my collection; a 4" SS Ruger Security Six from 1977. I bought it from the son of the original owner. When the father passed, the son liquidated his collection. I bought it and a 6" Taurus 66 for $500 together. The Taurus was post-1988.

This one isn't mine, but it's identical

The Ruger was stock, with Pachmayr grips. It rides in a Triple K Woodsman holster, a perfect fit. The Taurus also fits, since it has an open muzzle end. I painted the front sight, but have a Millet fiber replacement on the way now.

There's something comforting about a simple revolver

The Taurus had been worked over, with very little cylinder to barrel gap and a very light pull. It startled me the first time I fired it, but I was already a bit suspicious. It is amazing accurate for what it is. Too bad it only has the integrated front sight, but at least the rear is adjustable. I'm considering painting it's sights.

I felt that the son's lack of interest was reason enough for me to keep the pair together.
