What's the oldest gun you own?

My grand fathers old twenty two.

High Standard Model B

I believe it was manufactured in the 1930's.

Every other firearm I own are the latest and greatest high tech do it all's that come with a scanner and laser jet printer attached to the frame.

a Colt 1911 Goverment model made in 1917, old military piece, with a 22 conversion slide made in the '40's. Bought at a Gun show for $250.......
pitted beyond belief ...............shoots like a champ!

The 1911 Colt my grand-dad carried in WW I. Second to that is his Remington Model 11-A 12 ga. After he passed away, I found old Oklahoma hunting licenses rolled up in the stock hole dating back to 1920.

I also have my grandmothers side by side 20 ga. w/ external hammers. It has no brand on it - no markings of any kind - so it's impossible for me to date it.

You all have me beat. Mine is a 1968 Marlin Model 60. My family that has the guns that passed down through generations, still have them, so my collection is oh so young. One day, though. One day.
