Always thought the Milt Sparks summer special was a great choice but in my old age it tends to get uncomfortable after several hours of wear, main problem is pulling my pants down as I have no butt :uhoh:.
So I'm wondering about other choices.

Kramer Belt Scabbard (high rise pancake OWB with moderate cant) in horsehide. Keeps the pistol so flat against the side that an untucked (little loose) tee shirt can conceal it ...

I have 3 really good gun belts, cinching them up tight enough is part of the comfort problem.

If your pants are falling down, the suspenders recommendation made above is a fairly simple and inexpensive way to try and fix your problem.

Of course, I'm all for folks buying new holsters too.

My other holster is a Brave Response belly band type. Super awesome for carrying my heavy-assed full sized 1911 in 100% total comfort. I can wear sweat pants, sport type shorts or just my underwear. No problem. Fits any body shape. It even has places for spare mags, knife or whatever. I still prefer Sticky Holster otherwise. Google these in your spare time.

I have a Galco belly band and I find it comfortable but I have concerns regarding retention, I will take a look at the Brave Response.

You already have one of the best holster made maybe you should consider a smaller pistol or a light weight 1911 or just spend 20 bux on a pair of suspenders or a OWB holster milt sparks makes them to

But I will admit that it's nearly always a lighter gun for me.
I agree, find myself gravitating to my P365 and a Colt pocket lite for the roll of concealed carry but the problem is I've always shot the 1911 better than any other semi-auto. Probably because I've been shooting them for 48 years.:D

I carry a 1911 so a Sig p938 in summer but starting to drift to a Glock 48

I stopped using the Summer Special after I tried Tucker's IWB designs. I wear the "Texas Heritage" now.

I also have gone exclusively to "double layer bullhide with internal stiffener" belts from Beltman. These take a while to break in but hold a big gun off the ground pretty well.

The key, for me, is a good set of leather suspenders, with minimal or no elastic, and solid attachments to your pants. I like trigger snaps on belt loops.

With this combination I have even been able to conceal a 4" X-frame with tolerable comfort.
