Primers in Twin Cities - Minnesota

For you shooters in the Mpls/St. Paul area Bullseye Shooter's Supply in Lake Elmo (east of St. Paul) has primers from Winchester, Federal, CC1 and Wolf. Chris is one of the owners. He's limiting purchases to 200 rifle and 200 pistol per day to make sure we all get some. But depending on what you want and what he has the limit can be upped to 1000. He let me have 1000 WLR's the other night. No web page yet. If you Google them the phone no. will pop up.

The only large rifle primers I can find are the CCI benchrest version. (Cabelas, Post Falls ID) However, their powder selection has gone from ZERO to having some of the less obscure types (still no IMR 4831 anywhere on earth), and the salesman said they are starting to see increased shipments and he anticipates greater availability in the next few months. Does this mean all you stockpilers ran out of room to squirrel away my FED215 and CCI250 primers and stopped buying them on sight? LEAVE SOME FOR ME!!!

I ordered 10,000 Wolf large rifle and 1,000 Wolf small rifle magnum primers from Powder Valley on Jan. 25. They were dropped off by UPS yesterday. Cost was $321.63 including hazmat and shipping. That's $29.24 per thousand; just under 3 cents each, delivered. Mfg. date was mid 2009.

pekin gun in IL has everything but large pistol mostly CCI and Fed 2000 limit
Daves tradin post right down the street in pekin has large rifle small rifle and shotgun he has large pistol but there remington and he will only sell them by thousand and the limmit is a thousand

Big Buck Sport Shop (actually in Wexford just north of the city). Just bought 500 CCI 200 and they had plenty of those left and lots of other sizes. They are also great people to deal with. I think they were $37/1000 but don't quote me.
