We really could use the money right now to cover a huge bill on copper and lead so if you have some spare cash give us a shot.
Through Monday midnight, RMR is offering 8% off everything with 8flash code (free shipping on all orders) - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.php?threads/rmr-230grain-fmj-still-on-sale.842091/#post-10936405

If you reload and want to save money, stocking up when good sales and promotions are offered is key to savings, especially buying in larger quantities when greater savings can be realized. With RMR offering 8% off with free shipping and on larger quantities, you can bring the cost of plated/jacketed bullets down way below lead/coated lead pricing!

BTW, RMR has Hardcore Match bullets in 9mm back in stock in limited quantities. These are thick plated bullets rated to 1500 fps that produced very good accuracy for me. Compare these to Speer TMJ in terms of copper plating thickness - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...ng-at-25-50-yards.808446/page-3#post-10470195

These are in limited quantities - Stock up if you want the savings.

9mm 115 gr Plated RN Seconds pricing comes down to $65.32/1000 on 2000 quantity with 8% off - https://www.rmrbullets.com/shop/bullets/9mm-115-gr-plated-round-nose-seconds-bullets-new/

380Auto/9mm 100 gr Hardcore Match RN Seconds (Thick Plated rated to 1500 fps) $66.24/1000 with 8% off (These bullets produced 1.5"-2" 10 shot 50 yard groups from my carbines) - https://www.rmrbullets.com/shop/bul...h-plated-round-nose-bullets-new-seconds-copy/

Powder Valley is offering free haz-mat when you purchase $99 or more of Accurate, Ramshot, and/or Norma powders. Offer ends 10/14/18 at 11:59 CST.

Yeah, couldnt have done it 2 weeks ago when I put in my order...sigh...

In the past month I have received many offers from resellers of Free Hazmat on powders "if". Sorry folks but I don't need powders I need primers and need then badly. Yet I've yet to see an offer from any of them of Free Hazmat on primers of any kind. Or is it I need to spend $125.00 for powders I don't need so I can add in the primers I do need?

I understand your frustration, kmw1954. Your best bet is to sign up on all the suppliers email lists and wade thru them. There will be many.

In post #4158 above, Natchez had free Hazmat on $150 or more that wasn't requiring you to buy powder. So, as long as you need lots of primers you would have been OK. Sadly, I think the Natchez deal is over by now.

Hope you can find a deal soon.

Midway USA just had a deal on free hazmat with Winchester primer purchase! Are you on their email list? They also have free shipping right now for orders >$49...

During the "Great Component Shortage" we learned the value of doing "Group Buys".

With HazMat fee and shipping charges spread 2-3+, more people you have in the group buy, the HazMat/shipping charges become negligible.

Once you start asking around for group buys, reloaders come out of the wood works as they are all in the same situation as you and will gladly participate. THR members in the same area also got together during the shortage for group buys. I had 4+ people on my group buy at any given time and all I needed was a quick text to get the green light from everyone to purchase; as often, popular items were sold out within 30-40 minutes or less.

With group buy of 4, $20 HazMat and $20 shipping will reduce to $10 per person. For a sleeve of 5,000 primers, HazMat/shipping will reduce to $2/1000. For two sleeves of 10,000, HazMat/shipping reduce to negligible $1/1000. ;)

I am on Midway's mailing list but I didn't see that one. Also understand the idea behind group buys. There is a member of another forum that I do meet up with on occasion and we shoot together. He is also a reloader and I have brought up going in together on a buy but so far I haven't received a positive response from him. So yes, even to divide it up between just 2 people makes a big difference. I'll even go one further in that there is a shop about 2.5 hrs from me that has great prices on primers and powders that I've even offered to drive up to if he would split the cost of gas. No response. So now I'm just waiting for our income to stabilize again now that the wife is back to work after her knee replacement and I will make the trip up there for myself.

Everglades 5% deal. Been on alert for some veterans day sales, not a great one but losing it in hopes the trend continues.

Now that shooting has slowed down a bit, W244 is on my list to experiment with this winter. Win 231 has been my go to 9mm choice for quite a while now, but I usually branch out and experiment a little once competition season has ended.

Nice that components are so readily available again.
