I think they made a number of mistakes. Opening a retail outfit, I think in Texas, didn't go well for them either.

Lots of folks expanded or started up when people were scrambling for guns, ammo and components. When the political landscape changed I saw a number of local start ups go under. As far as bullet quality goes, in 9mm I never had any more variation with Extreme than I do with Berry's. I don't measure every bullet but I do usually take a sampling of 25 out of every box of 1K.

I standardized on RMR for 9mm. When you can get Jacketed for less than Plated, why wouldn't you?

Their selection as the supplier for Eley's CF line is just validation of quality produced

You're right, that's no deal. With the thr discount .08 is what you can get 124 fmj at RMR for.

They'll have to get more competitive on price to flourish. I hope they do, they have a couple of bullets I like.

I know it is silly to not want to "waste" jacketed hollow points when they are just as cheap, but I still feel like I am wasting them if I shoot them for plinking. Goes back to the old days of lead, cheap (back then they were) plated, or high priced name brand jacketed.

They display the "in-stock" amount on the product page, so it looks like they are ramped up for it, but no 5000 primer cases were listed, instead they have a lot of bricks (1000 primer boxes).
Remington SP Primers: 1260 in stock
Federal SP Primers: 698 in stock
Winchester SP Primers: 429 in stock
CCI SP Primers: 3091 in stock

Assuming you have to buy 5 boxes to get the deal, that leaves about 1095 (5478 divided by 5) happy customers.. I think the primers will go quick..

The stock on the other items i listed is quite large, i would be surprised if they didn't offer those as well for a lower price later on. Over three thousand CCI primer bricks? That's 3,091,000 primers. Compared to large pistol, they are at least 10x over the average stock amount.. Of course, large pistol is not in as much demand.

The Winchester and Federal SP primers are lower in stock, so I am less confident on those.. But I suspect that when they run out of Remington, they may switch to CCI..

Of course, I am just speculating..
