I just got an M1 carbine and took it to the range today. Had a way too many stovepipes, failures to fully eject the case, and looks like in some cases, the extractor simply didn't grab the case and I had to pick it out with a small screwdriver. Is there such a thing as new M1 carbine extractors?
Also, does anyone make a complete spring kit for this gun?

Send your bolt to Fulton Armory. They have the parts, know how, and such to repair it and make sure it has a good spring, is assembled right, and is to spec. I had the same problem, and did not have to ship the rifle. I think it was around $35 total. Works like a charm now.
