I am looking to buy some Lee REAL bullets to try prior to buying a mold. Does anyone on here sell cast bullets for muzzle loaders?

Lee REAL molds are less than $25 from places like Track of the Wolf. Generally, they shoot accurately assuming you select the one that is right for your gun. The .45, .50, and .54 caliber REALs are made in two lengths, (or weights) The shorter of the two works well in slow-twist rifling and the longer ones work better in guns with a faster rifling twist. I cast mine from pure lead at around 850 degrees to get a good fill-out. They are easy to load and shoot best with a 1/8" card or felt wad between them and the powder charge. They are quite effective on big game.

Thanks guys, I have two guns one is a T/C renegade 50 with 1:48 twist flintlock the other is .54 Renegade with 1:60 twist any recommendations on weights?
Thank you for your help!!

The 1:48 twist will shoot the longer bullets better. Use the shorter bullets in the 1:60 twist barrel. I have had good results with the Hornady PA bullets or the Buffalo Ballets in a 1:66 twist barrel, but i prefer to use Patched round balls.
