Of the people listed so far; I'd go to CSAT and train with Paul Howe. Outstanding instructor, down to earth guy, and no internet drama to get tied-up in.

i haven't been there yet but i have a buddy that is going to possibly be an instructor for Mag Pul, and i will definetly be hitting them up in the future.

U.S. Shooting Academy. Tulsa, OK. 4 hours from Dallas, but maybe 5 minutes from the Tulsa airport if you fly in. I think flights are cheap (and direct) from Dallas and Houston.
They are legit. This course is what I plan to take... most applicable for people looking to face an honest-to-goodness, me-versus-them, close-range throw-down.
