Which Bedside Pistol "Safe?"

I do too, but the cost burden on such a small manufacturer just isn't justified for one State right now. Here's where FAS1 safes are currently sold the most. Go figure. Seems like plenty of people realize how useless the DOJ rating is. I would like to see the list of failed tests because it seems like everything submitted has passed their standards.

I have a Fort Knox, which is DOJ approved, for when I'm not home. (Because we also can't carry here, don't get me started.) If I had a child in the house I would have a FAS1 mounted to the bed frame and use it at night, for that it doesn't have to be DOJ approved because it's within arm's length. Being that no children are ever in my house, for night time a simple bed holster is fine.

Some of the items on the DOJ list would hardly secure against an energetic rat, much less a human. I think it's about submitting paperwork, jumping through hoops, and paying the fee.

I think I'm going to order a FAS1!
Looks to be the best design even in spite of the CA-DOJ
