Could you put these seven pistols in order by their triger reset: Glock 17, Beretta 92FS, CZ-75B, XD9, SIG Sauer P226, HK USP and HK P30? Thanks guys! :)

Glocks got about the shortest, definately shorter than my CZs & Sig 239. Nothing compares to the 1911!:)

Out of the list, the glock. If you're looking for a really good reset on a DA/SA gun though you need to look at the walther p99 AS and the older s&w metal framed autos, they have better resets than the glock even.

If you want a shorter reset in the sig you'll have to purchase a sig model with the SRT installed (an Elite model), or send your sig back to the factory for this installation, or send it to Grayguns for either their carry or competition short reset package.

I have an SRT on my 229 and love it - it's mega, super, uber short. When I compared the foward travel required for a reset to my dad's G31, it seemed the same, though I didn't laser-measure it so ya'll will have to take it with a grain of salt.

Of the polymer pistols, in fact anything else besides a 1911, the Walther P99 has the shortest, fastest trigger reset out there.
