Who are you?

I am 25 years old.

I am an asphalt and soil lab technician (Test Highway, Interstate and Bridge construction materials).

I am not married but am in a very happy relationship with a beautiful girl who loves hunting and fishing just as much as me.

Just turned 24 on the 26th. Law school studnet 2nd year. Mows yards for money (six hours equals $100), barbacks at local bar one night a week (literally a five minute walk from the house I rent at) for six or seven hours and make $100-$150. The $200-$250 I make goes to gas and groceries so I don't go eye ball deep in debt on loans. Basically an extra $800 or $1000 a month. If I stay in or under budget I put $400 away in luxury spending. Bullets and shooting run me about $200 a month in spending so the other $200 goes into long term purchases. I also get money from the Casino I go to that's a little over an hour away, I won't be making any trips for the months of October or November because of studying as a priority but I usually get an extra $200-$400 a month in one or two trips (usually ten to twelve hours of gambling unfortunately, the economy keeps all the dumb rich kids away, used to pick up $600 to $800 a month).

I'm going to get my Family Mediation Certification and contracts with the counties to mediate one or two days a week pay pretty well so I can work part-time next semester because all the big boys are only offering summer positions.

So I've got a little over $3K in a separate savings account on top of the other four I've got for various anal-retentive paranoid saving ways of mine that goes to my long term 'luxury' spending. Will have a little over $4K by the time I graduate, become a member of the bar and have been at a job for one year. Then I'm loading up on reloading equipment and make my last purchases for a good while (finally get an AR15, pickup a Swiss K31, and get a 1911 kit or 10mm wide frame 10mm from Fusion).

So i've got my fiancee in medical school, no kids (for another five years at least on top of it), rent at a house, and plan to become a lawyer and NRA friendly.

48 year old husband, father, and grandfather.
Live paycheck-to-paycheck, and guns are expensive, so I have to be very careful. I have:

- Taurus PT1911 for everyday carry, personal defense
- Kel-Tec P-3AT for a BUG
- Remington 870 in 20 ga. for home defense
- Romanian AK-47 for the Zombie Apocalypse

My wife carries a Kel-Tec PF-9 in her purse.
My daughter carries a Glock .40 in her purse.
My son carries a M1911 and M4 (he's a Marine).

20, full time college student bio major, own plenty of guns (Enough for now...maybe).

I do IPSC, Bullseye, mountainbiking, fencing, football, and am recently getting into mixed martial arts and boxing.

Also enjoy video games and books.

I've come to realize having money for lots of gun stuff or other hobby money isn't really about "being rich" or having a high-paid job, but more about staying out of debt with the exception of "good/unavoidable debt" like your mortgage. If you do things like save up for what you want instead of using credit cards

That is so true. Although it helps to have a job that pays well.

I am 47, a builder, married with two children although one is in college and the other is right behind her. If the daughter wasn't going to college and hadn't gone to a private school the past four years, I'd have that semi-auto Barrett. But I do okay, I bought three guns just last week and I'm working on one for this week.

A real SOB with little tolerance for those who disown their rights and even less for those who wish to take mine.

Other than that, I am nice guy who enjoys guns (duh), home theater (but no TV, haven't watched for 7 1/2 years), wood working, mechanical (my current line of work from here on out, my chosen career), being a father (actually belongs at the top of the list), reader, music lover, gourmet chef (my previous occupation, I still miss it from time to time, but thank god I can cook at home...eating out...what is that?) and new to the world of metal fabrication so that I can build that gun that has been in my head for over a year now.

To answer your question...

It takes time to own all of these guns if you have a lower middle class salary, but it makes you that much more proud to have them.

I don't buy guns I intend to sell or trade off later. I buy guns to keep until I die because they strike a chord in my soul and I have just got to have them for the simple fact that they make me smile (which is hard to do).

Guns are assets. Too many just view them as tools or toys.

A gun should be for life. Tools and toys are for use, abuse, destruction, and eventual replacement.

Makes a big difference when you treat them accordingly.

And since you asked and told (were you old enough to remember or comprehend Clinton's "Don't ask, Don't tell" policy for the military?) I will reveal that I am 33 going a very grouchy 63.

However, many will describe me as negative, but I am simply a realist who misunderstood and highly opinionated. I am not the picture of doom and gloom. I am usually happy or nuetral, but I am not about feeling any kind of bad for telling it like it is and most Americans don't deal with the truth very well.

I'm not exactly sure that random statistical information about my age and occupation is a good description of who I am, but I will answer the questions anyway.

51 year old children's librarian with no living children, no spouse, not much living family, and a steadily decreasing amount of debt. I've always measured wealth by the number of firearms that I could buy and keep. I'm finally having to change my definition of wealth!

Now I just need to find a good place to shoot... .

I am 72 years old and a retired porno star, I have a live in 28 year old girl friend that loves guns.
We do a lot of shooting and motorcycle riding, we love it.:)

Almost 38. Single and looking. Dad to 5 four leggers. Fuel systems engineer. Hay farmer. Bovine wrangler. Currently crippled ( that will change soon, I hope.) Money not tight, yet I have been called a Cheapskate!:)

Mid thirties, married for the time being. We outright own our house, have very minimal debts, and between the two of our college educated incomes, make a substaintial amount of disposable money. I'm a mechanical type, and my hobbies revolve around mechanical type stuff, like cars and guns.

Guns are a high priority for me. I just wish I'd started earlier when guns and ammo were much cheaper.

I farm hay too. Though on only 50 acres here in Ky.
Just a few goats now.

Sucessful Fulltime Farrier. Have owned hundreds of different guns... maybe I still do. (maybe) Always go to gun shows to buy, sell or swap for something new. I pay cash for everything. Own my house, truck outright. I have no major debt or bills(thank God!!) Never inherited a dime but I work my tail off and earn a great income and wait to buy what I want when I can afford it.
