28, control room operator, wife of 3 year and father for the last month + a few days.
I have the ability to buy a firearm fairly often, but more often I buy reloading supplies or tools. Most of the funding for this comes from either guiding bird hunts or buying and selling stuff on ebay. Alot of the stuff I sell on ebay is either stuff off of ebay I get cheap or other auctions that I go to. Most of what I sell on ebay is gun related somehow as I know what I am looking for and what a good price is when I buy it.

All of my interests are outdoor related, mostly hunting and shooting and I do fly fish, but my first love is quail hunting and my Brittany's.

I'm 56 until July. Married for 35 years. Retired captain from the United States Army since 1995. Work for a major insurance company in customer service. My wife is a retail store manager, and my children are grown. I'm a recovering credit card user paying off those bills, a mortgage, and a truck payment.

I buy guns when bonuses or tax refunds come my way or when I find a really good deal (in coordination with my wife).

56, been with same woman 16 years, she's a R.N. Have one dog, our little chihuahua. My favorite cat is the gray tiger stripe tabby, but the tortoise shell will love you forever. Favorite guns: Smith & Wessons, Sigs, Winchesters, Colts. Favorite caliber: .38 Special. Favorite calibers: .357 Magnum, .45 Auto, 9mm Parabellum, .44 Special, .22LR.

I've been an EMT, fire dispatcher and volunteer firefighter. My favorite job ever was being an ambulance man, but knees wrecked from lifting too many gurneys, so just miss the life. Went back to school, earned a fisheries degree. Unemployed since December, but have so much to do, I hardly notice.

I have many hobbies-reloading, ship model building, writing, maritime photography, guitar and mandolin playing, even enjoy gun cleaning. Used to own a pile of guns and cool rifles, sold many to get through school and to put food in the fridge. Best thing ever is the law enforcement trade-in, allows me to buy guns for a good price.

I think the last 1231 posts show an overwhelming trend toward your "every day dude (or girl)" owning guns.. the difference is they (we) have made guns an important part of our lives and would rather buy a new toy, modify an existing one, or get in some practice than put EXTRA money toward else...

I am 35 and live in mid tennessee. I just left a auto manufacturer and am planning and working for the Tennessee Highway patrol or the Rutherford Co. Sheriff Dept. I love guns as a hobby and also am a former power lifter. Even though I can't compete any more I still love to lift.

31 yr old remodeling contractor. I have 4 kids two boys and two girls. I have been married since 98. I got my first gun at the age of ten. I bought my first gun 5 months later. Dad bought me a shotgun and then I wanted a .22 I was told to earn it. I mowed every lawn I could find for 10 bucks a whack. Rich no happy yes. We have a small farm 150 acres. A few head of cattle, few chickens, I was told I am setting up a hog pen. God love 4-H and what the kids want for it. I rarely buy new guns I just buy quite a few used ones when I get a good deal.

I try to buy at least 1 gun every month. I have 36 guns total so far. I want to be like my grandpa. He had a massive amount of guns and slowly gave them away to us grandkids as he got older. He actually just gave me a pre 64 Model 70 in .30-06 for my birthday in December. I think I have 7 guns now that he gave me. Those guns mean more to me than I can ever express. That's what I want to do for my kids and grandkids. So, I am lucky that my wife and her parents own an oil company and 12 Conoco stations. She supports my habit. I also own 13 compound bows. My name is Quinton, and i am a weapon-o-holic.

22, with wife and a 7 month old beautiful baby boy, and am an E-3 in the U.S. Marine Corp. Guns come whenever I get some extra jingle in the pocket.

56, wife and 6yo girl, one cat.

CEO of a low-level government concern, and my wife makes $20K more than me, and lets me buy guns on occasion, like just now.

Just spent $5,000 on guns thanks to you-know-who; before that, I last bought a gun in 1992.

Ok, born 1960, mental age 41, physical age about 55.
Until lately, was architecting, but, am preseently reduced to my p/t job as one of Unc' Sugar's O-4s.
Had to choose between a mistress and a house, and mistresses complain when you bolt Liberty safes to them.
Have a cat instead of a dog (and the story behind that is known but to five, and two of them are deceased).

Just livin' my life like it was written by Jimmy Buffett and robert Earl Keen . . .

Older than dirt. Wife doesn't work, but I do... Mostly I drink coffee and tell lies.... Then head for the bathroom. Enjoy your kidneys while you got'em kid. My wife and I had daughters - and they were never interested in guns - but then they all had boys - six grand kids - and teaching them to shoot has been great.

Do I have enough guns? Yes. They keep following me home.

61, married 41 years, and retired. 2 weapons, a 30+ year old revolver and a semi auto about 8 months old. I'm not a collector, just too old to fight or run.
