30yr old disabled vet
just finished my Masters Degree
work as a DoD Civilian for a gov't agency as a telecommunications engineer.
I grew up around guns, and I always like to have guns around.
Not as much money to by guns now that I am married. When I was single each paycheck always had a portion going towards a gun, gun accessory or into savings for guns. Unfortuantely, my gun supply has dwindled down, but I still have several and plan on keeping it that way.
My problem is I have A.D.D. when it comes to guns. I do a lot of spur of the moment purchases and sales (always regret the sales afterwards).
Also, i have several hobbies that are not cheap and I can't concentrate enought on one to ditch the others (paintball, archery, bowhunting, fishing, benchrest, Silhouette, IPSC, IDPA, blackpowder, muzzleloading, varminting, 4x4'ing, and the most expensive of them all is wrenching on my 72 Chevelle SS)
I am hoping to finish the chevelle, only bowhunt and not compete in archery anymore, and also cut down on attending benchrest, Silhouette, IPSC, IDPA matches. For those that like the defensive pistol matches you really need to get into paintball, it is a great way to practice defensive and offensive shooting and work with other folks on the team, plus when you shoot someone or get shot it is not permanent and you can learn from your mistakes.
foregot to mention i have an addiction to buying mausers (the old and new ones) . Sinec the BATF has decided to keep renewing my C&R FFL each time I guess they think my addiction /habit is ok by them. I just wish my fun/gun money account would agree
also, have a collection of fine whiskey's, scotch and bourban and have a full 7 drawer humidor or my favority cigars (mostly graycliff, perdomo, maxx, titans and beasts from ghurka, and Montecristo Media Noches) so that really takes up my money for guns, but it is a relaxing hobby
