Whose 6.5 Creedmoor did you buy and why?

Ruger’s Precision Rifle, because I buy most novel things Ruger comes out with, and prefer to have firsthand experience before I offer opinions. Great rifle, but not the best option for my needs.

I went with a Bergara B-14 HMR that I got on sale. I then mounted a Vortex Razor Gen II in 4.5-27x56 w/ an EBR-2C reticle that I got on Expert Voice with Vortex matched Precision 34mm medium rings on a Warne 20 MOA Picatinny rail. I can use the AICS magazines that I have from one of my .308 Win builds with it as well. Great setup for a great price, 1/2-3/4 MOA so far with factory ammo. Now that I've got some brass from the factory ammo I used, I can start working up loads.

I have savage and wouldn’t be opposed to getting another I have an older model 10 fcp-sr

Looking at a begera ridge right now

I bought a Browning X-bolt target and have no regrets, simply put, I trust Browning to deliver high value that matches their high price.

Today, I'd take a real close look at the Seekins Havak series.

Can't go wrong with a Savage either, but I already have a safe full of those :)

Current rifle is a Bergara B-14 Hunter. I had a Weatherby Vanguard and a Ruger American Predtor. The Ruger shot better than either rifle and didn't care about bullets or powder. I had 4 different loads that shot well in it. The Bergara took a lot of work to find a load that it really liked. My next CR will be a Bergara Woodsman as soon as I can get rid of a Ruger No. 1 International 270.

I really like this cartridge. My first target was a Bergara. Nice but I wanted a bit more. I wanted an AI but price and the time to have one built didn't get along well. I went with Rainier. Then we retired and moved to Tennessee. We found a 1K range for the Rainier. I also wanted one for white tail. I considered a synthetic stock but when I saw the wood on this Bergara, and they advertise a sub MOA, Oh, and the trigger is very nice I bought it. I' IMG_1772.JPG m glad I know a bit about wood refinishing and have to agree with those who say its nuts to drag art through the woods.

Accuracy International AT weigh a Gradous barrel. I bought the rifle because I've always wanted an AI and it canne with the factory 308 barrel and the Gradous 6.5CM. It shoots really well. Longest range I've taken it to do far was 1380 yards.

Here's a short video I took a couple months ago. I love the delay from shot to sound of impact.
