Why hasn't Hogue made a SKS stock yet?

With thousands and thousands of SKS rifles out there, it seems like a gold mine. Their over molded stocks seem like they would go great on a SKS. I don't even want a folding or pistol grip stock, just a normal rifle stock but made for American shooters with a slightly longer LOP.

It seems like they are missing out on making a ton of cash on this idea.

My first inclination is that Hogue couldn't make one cheaper than these and live with it.

I know about all those, I have an ATI on my Chinese SKS. They are all hard plastic though, Hogue makes a soft rubber coated stock for other guns, I just thought it would be perfect on a SKS. I guess no one else seems to think so, maybe that is why they don't make one.

I hear ya. I like the slightly squishy, tacky feel they have.

I have no true answer to that; maybe if you contacted them and made the suggestion?

I'd purchase a Hogue overmold for the SKS. i don't like those hard plastic stocks. i have the hogue on my Mini-14 and it works great, cept dog hair seems to like to stick to it.
