Thanks for the chuckle. See you Friday?....

You're welcome, Dave LOL!!

As for Friday - I'm prayin' to the Rain-god to take a three day weekend starting on Thursday evening. I wasn't able to shoot the DHE 20-ga last Friday due to rain and it has been eating me up. I must shoot this gun - the Old Man hasn't even had it out of his safe in 7 or 8 years. Since I've brought her home I can hear her from inside my safe whispering to me in my sleep.....

Here's to a dry Friday morning - Cheers!!!!

That brush looks like it has been sitting out too long... you need to clean that thing man!

AND... the paint should never get up to the metal like that:what:

At least you were using a good brush:D

Sorry, I had to...

I spend 6 days a week with my Purdys.

Astute observation, Shweboner!

Wifey and I always split up the cutting-in to keep a wet edge. That was her Purdy. Mine never gets loaded up more than 3/4" of an inch into the bristles. Also, unlike Honey-bunny, I had cleaned and wrapped my brush right after I was done with it - long before it dawned on me to take the picture. Wifey's was still sitting out (her strategy all along - "Ed'll clean it for me..."). That one became my "model." :p :D

Another helpful hint.

If you clean your brush ( using a wire brush is perfect ) you should immediately dry it and put it back in the paper case that way it will keep its shape. to dry it you can comb it and let it air dry, you can spin it(think of making snakes w/clay), or you can lay it over a vent!

If you plan on using the brush the following day, in the same color. Then you can wrap it in plastic, if you do this, dip the brush before wrapping, you dont want it to dry out.

BTW, I wouldn't trust my wife to cut in... can be dangerous:scrutiny:

Mrs Foggy mumbled something about "seeing the doctor" a couple of weekends back.....

Didn't know at the time she meant I would be spending the weekend seeing
"The Rug Doctor"......:cuss: :banghead:
