Winchester 120 Ranger/1200 help

First post here so here i go. Friend has a Winchester 120 Ranger 20 ga. The Slide Arm Extension is stripped where the nut screws on. I was looking to help him get a new one. I've searched on here and the interweb and seems the parts of a 1200 will swap with the 120 for the most part. I've found a Slide Arm Extension on Numrich.com for a 1200 but it doesnt specify gauge. Only has one listing. Are they the same for the 12 and 20 ga? is my real question and thanks.

The mag tubes are the same for 12 and 20 so I wager the slide guts are also. Don't quote me but I'd bet a fiver on it.

hmm sounds like thats the answer then. Just didnt expect the tubes to be the same.

Yeah me neither. But apparently they are. The mag throats are caliber specific though.
