Winchester 1895 top Handguard

Hey Guys,

I picked up this 1895 at auction recently. It was a good price so I jumped on it. It is missing the top handguard which I know is relatively common.

Does anyone know of someone who makes repros, or are willing to part with their own? If I can’t source one I may modify one from a Mauser top handguard until I find one.

Reproduction Krag handguards are being made. The rear sight on your Winchester resembles a contemporaneous Krag rear sight. You might take some measurements and see if a Krag handguard, with modifications, would serve your purpose.
