I cleaned up and resealed my Winchester Model 353/Diana 5 air pistol yesterday... I have not shot it over the chronograph yet ... anybody got a good idea what the velocity "should" be with a .22 Cal. 14.3 gr Benjamin Dome pellet? I have never shot this gun over a chronograph ... so I have no idea ...

It is shooting fairly accurate(for my old eyes) at 10 meters ... I found a "test" pack of Benjamin pellets at Walmart ... I've only shot one version of the four different pellets ... maybe one of them will be the "one"

It really needs a re-blue ... I may jump on that project next...

I got a Crosman Model 101 that needs new seals ... also...

Thanks ...I'll try to look up that up ... I got this gun back when I was in HS ... about 1971 ... so it is about 42/43 years old ... I shot it some back then and it wound up in a storage cabinet... since I haven't been able to buy a bunch of .22 RF ... I decided to pull out the 353 and see what was wrong ... I found the seal to be dust/crumbs... and it had quite a lot of surface rust ... I re-did the seal and cleaned the rust off somewhat... enough that I put it back together and started shooting it ... being that my eyes are not too sharp anymore ... it shoots pretty good ... I think once the seal gets seated good ...it will be fairly accurate... now I got to figure out how I am going to reblue or coat it to make it look better ...
