my neighbor has a winchester model 1, in 12 guage, semi-auto, 2 and three quarter, full choke, monte carlo stock. it is new in box. only been fired 3 times by the factory before packaging. his brother won it at a ducks unlimited banquet in 1960(ish). it does not say "trap" anywhere on it or the box. was wondering if anyone knew what it was worth in 100% condition, so we know what he can ask for it. thanks...

....gunbroker.com would give you an idea of the value I suppose. if it does not shoot 3" shells it could be a negative on resale value. ..my guess would be $3-$400, perhaps more.

What do you mean by Model 1? If it's Super-X 1, how could he win it in 1960, before the gun was made?

Did you mean Model 12?

Winchester Model 12 is a pump, not a semi-auto.

Winchester Model 11SL semi-auto was producced from 1911-1925

Winchester Model 50 & Model 59, both semi-autos were still being manufactured in 1960. The Model 40 was out of production by then.
