Open Carry of a firearm is ALREADY LEGAL in Wisconsin, and 100% supported by Governor Doyle. The issue is local LEO infringing on our right to legally carry. What rights, when legally exercised, do you think LEO should arrest you for exercising?
In August of 2008, the enclose resolution was delivered to ALL 72 Wisconsin Counties. At the time of this post, ONLY ONE county had approved the resolution. What does that say about the elected officials in Wisconsin?
The resolution simply asks the county boards to recognize your constitutional rights. Will you support the resolution?

WHEREAS, The County Board of __________ County Wisconsin affirms that the people have the constitutionally protected right to keep and bear arms for security, defense, hunting, recreation, or any other lawful purpose.
WHEREAS, the concealed carry of firearms is prohibited by Wisconsin Statute 941.23.
BE IT RESOLVED, that open carry is not an unlawful means to exercise these rights, and that no one may restrict a citizen's lawful exercise of these constitutionally protected rights.

The time to act is now. Send this resolution to EVERY one of your county board members and DEMAND they take action.
